Use THIS The Next Time You Take a Meal
Whether you are supporting a loved one through a recent loss or are encouraging a friend as they welcome a new child into their home, taking them a meal is a beautiful display of community. Many of you prepare these meals in your own homes and willingly share the bounty of your tables with loved ones.
I have always been grateful for the meals that have been brought to my family during times of need. After I had delivered my son, a friend brought us a delicious meal. Looking back, I distinctly remember feeling uncertain about the specifics of how to thoroughly warm the meal, wondering what temperature I needed to set the oven to and how long it needed to bake. While you might assume that the recipient will know this information, it is considerate to provide any extra cooking or reheating instructions. To do so, consider adding a label. This will avoid confusion about who the meal is intended for, which ingredients may need to be avoided, and how to reheat it. Also, including a label gives you the opportunity to add a beautiful and thoughtful note to bless and encourage your loved one.
Take Them A Meal offers FREE printable labels in our Shop. Simply download the label as a PDF and save it to your computer. You have the option to print the labels directly from the comfort of your home and to the desired size under your printer's settings. Consider printing them in advance so that you have them ready and handy for your next meal preparation. This way, you'll be organized and prepared when it's time to take your meal. Adding this label with a little note of encouragement will add extra cheer to your delicious meal! You could even include the recipe for whatever you're providing on the back of the card!
