Notes from Nephtali Matta:
Thank you for blessing our Alpha group with your hospitality! Offering a home-cooked meal at Alpha is part of what makes the evening welcoming.
Plan to feed 20 adults with your Alpha meal (if you are providing a meal in the first 5 weeks I will let you know if the group is larger or smaller). We've found that crock pot meals, casseroles, soups/stews, and stir fries/curries served over rice work well for a large group. This is what we usually provide:
MAIN: Anything you like! It's for a crowd, so not too spicy.
VEGGIE/SALAD/SIDE: A loaf of bread or a box of spring mix will work fine! We have salad dressings available.
DESSERT: Something sweet for the end of the evening. This can be as simple as a package of grocery store cookies.
DELIVERY
Bring the meal to the church on your chosen Thursday. We are serving the meal in Rez Cafe so park in front of the East Doors. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM so drop off between 6 PM and 6:15 PM We should be setting up inside and see you arrive. If you are running late or have any questions, give Nephtali (630) 808-1371 or Brad (620)-421-8324 a call.
If you bring any permanent dishes, we will wash them and leave them in Nephtali's cubicle, which is nearest the office kitchenette, and you can pick them up next time you're at church.
If you have any questions, contact Nephtali Matta at (630) 808-1371
