Notes from Joanne Ballinger:
Dear Parishioners,
Thank you so much for providing a delicious meal for the Priests and Brothers! May God bless you for your generosity and kindness. Please provide enough food for ten (10) men. Sundays are always 'feast' days, so please don't spare the meat, even during Lent and Advent. As they have plenty of fruit throughout the week, there is no need for extra fruit or salad -- a main meal and a dessert are all that is required. They do not need anything to drink unless you have something special to give them.
Please NO soups or stews. Breakfast and brunch items preferred.
Just one change-the Mass in Prescott is now every Sunday at 10:00 AM (used to be 3:00 PM), so the priest presiding that mass leaves in the early morning. The food doesn't need to be delivered until 11:30 AM. Please contact me if you need to bring it earlier as we adjust to the new time.
The brothers are responsible for heating up anything and can answer any questions you might have when dropping off. The kitchen is available to heat up or cook as needed. Brother Alphonsus' cell phone number is 480-286-7234. He very much appreciates a text when the food is dropped off; if you can, let him know what food is coming.
Lastly, if you need help with the expenses please note that this is always available. Simply take your receipt to Monique in the church office and she can reimburse you for the food expense.
As always, thank you for your generosity!
God Bless,
Joanne Ballinger
