WELCOME BACK GENEROUS FRIENDS AND NEW CONTRIBUTORS! THE GMIC WARMING STATION 2025/2026 SEASON KICKS OFF ON SATURDAY, NOV 1st, 2025 AND CONTINUES THROUGH WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH, 2026.
OUR BEAUTIFUL FACILITY IS LOCATED AT: 8-10 MULBERRY STREET, MIDDLETOWN. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE CITY OF MIDDLETOWN FOR REHABILITATING THIS SPACE TO ALLOW OUR MINISTRY TO BETTER SERVE THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY!!!
YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT IS INVALUABLE. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ENSURE THAT OUR NEIGHBORS WON'T GO HUNGRY THIS WINTER.

SOUPS, STEWS AND HEARTY MEALS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT MANY OF OUR GUESTS DO NOT CONSUME PORK. IF THE MEAL YOU HAVE PREPARED INCLUDES PORK, PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE A PORK-FREE ALTERNATIVE SO THAT ALL OF OUR GUESTS MAY RECEIVE THE NOURISHMENT THEY NEED AND DEPEND ON. PLEASE PROVIDE ENOUGH FOOD FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 GENEROUS PORTIONS:
*2-3 large, deep foil pans, 21 x 13 or 4-6 small, deep foil pans, 9 x 13
*Soups, stews, or chili: 3 gallons.
Please consider including a vegetable or salad, or a side dish, and/or dessert - any of these additions help to provide a well-rounded, filling meal for our guests.
Whenever possible, please deliver all food items in disposable containers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE MEAL SCHEDULE ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP. In the event of any evening during which the temperature falls below 20 degrees, please be prepared to deliver your meal between 7:15 and 7:30 PM, as we will be opening one hour early.

WE ARE UNABLE TO ALLOW THE MEAL PROVIDERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY AND SERVE THEIR MEAL - HOWEVER - you are welcome to be trained as a volunteer to help serve meals between 8 and 10PM. Available 2026 Season Training Dates: January 26th at 7 PM. More training opportunities will be added as needed throughout the season.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY 1 SESSION IS NECESSARY TO BEGIN VOLUNTEERING, AND RE-TRAINING IS NOT NECESSARY FOR VOLUNTEERING DURING FUTURE SEASONS**

Breakfast items in a take-away container (brown paper or zip top bag, etc.) are needed DAILY to be distributed the next morning. All breakfast items should be NON-PERISHABLE and individually wrapped, such as: muffins, bagels, granola/ fruit bars; juice boxes; bottled water, ETC. Kindly deliver breakfast bags in the evening on the date of your signup. We will distribute them the following day as guests depart.

IMPORTANT: DONATIONS OF BREAKFAST BAG ITEMS ARE NEEDED, AS FOLLOWS: Brown paper lunch bags, bottled water, juice boxes, individually pre-packaged muffins, granola bars, fruit bars, fruit cups, etc. Please ensure that items are individually packaged and shelf-stable (non-perishable).
