Notes from Ana Maria Podgaiskaya:
Naomi's House is a ministry that serves female survivors of sex trafficking and one way you can be involved is with our Thursday community dinners. The meal should accommodate 20-25 women and are needed every Thursday. The meals may be homemade, or delivered via a food delivery service such as GrubHub or UberEats. We have often found it is a great thing for a small group or few friends to sign up for and each member make one part of the meal, whatever works for you. Two of our participants are vegetarian so a small vegetarian option would be wonderful though not required.
Thank you so much for your willingness to bless these groups in such a tangible way. Women often say this meal is the safest they will feel all week. It is a time where women build community over dinner, get their physical and emotional needs met, and then follow up with a therapy or art group all while receiving free childcare.
Drop Off:
Meals can be dropped off Wednesdays 10am-3pm and Thursdays 10 am- 2 pm at our Reset-Chicago location, or a different meet-up point. Please reach out to Ana Maria Podgaiskaya anamaria.podgaiskaya@naomishouse.org or 828-559-5500 to coordinate drop-off or pick-up time.
