Meals should be made for 4 people. No fish, more protein / vegetable focus, less carbs

We regret to inform the membership of the passing of Dr. Jerry Silverman zl, the father of our member Jason Silverman.

The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday mid-day (tentatively at 12:00), January 6, at the Eretz Hachaim cemetery in Beit Shemesh. Because of the current lockdown, the service will be limited to family members only. If there is to be a Zoom recording of the funeral, we will publish the link when it becomes available.

Jason will be sitting shiva through Tuesday morning, January 12.
Again, because of health restrictions, there will be no indoor condolence visits.

Please refer to the shuls bereavement page ( for updates about shiva visits and minyan services.

Jason can be reached at 058-4727414, or at .

Our community wants to ensure that there will be a morning and evening minyan at the shiva, and that meals for those sitting shiva will be provided.
Please check details at
to see what help is needed, and sign yourselves up so that we can ensure that these important mitzvot are fulfilled.

As noted above, relevant and timely updates will be posted on the bereavement page; please check it regularly for changes and new information.
