Notes from Deborah Hartsell Hardaway:
Patrick, Katherine and daughter Caroline are in temporary housing for up to 4- 6 months due to an electrical fire in their attic. Fortunately Katherine was in the yard and saw smoke coming from the roof which allowed everyone to escape from their home safely.
We want to help ease this difficult time by supplying them a meal 1x a week. Please fix a meal for 4 adults, who like about anything (Caroline can't do DAIRY) . PLEASE BRING IN DISPOABLE CONTAINERS. We had to pick a day of the week, but it can be another day. A suggestion you can consider-you could freeze the meal which can help during transportation.
It will help them to have this around the beginning of the week.
You can bring it to worship on Sunday. ALSO Dale or Debbie Hardaway are also willing to bring it to them from services. Contact Debbie by text/call (321-356-7127) As of 11/24/24 NEW TEMPORARY ADDRESS. 718 Twin Willow Drive, Rock Hill, SC. Additionally Katherine works at Elbert Edwin Waddell High School, 7030 Nations Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28217 which can be a drop off if that is more convenient-communicate with Katherine about how to rendezvous.
Prayers were answered about finding housing they can a reside in until their home is repaired/rebuilt. Continue prayers For their endurance, even blessings during this time of upheaval. Your generous contribution of a meal can help hold their arms and spirits up. In that we Glorify our God. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 is challenging to live out, 2 Corinthians 4:9, Pray God will do more that we can imagine for them during this time.
